For the core game without expansion any thickness sleeve is compatible with the insert. If you own base game + expansion maximum thickness sleeves for the Dragon Cards is 100 micron and 60 microns for the Cave Cards. We've used GameGenic Mattes for the Dragon Cards and Sleeve King Standard for the the Cave Cards.

This wooden organizer seems a lot sturdier than the foam one I had before. It's very high-quality and I was able to fit all my sleeved dragon cards with the Dragon Academy expansion. I love that it doesn't require gluing every piece together. (And I didn't have any loose pieces that required glue.) That said, you DO need a rubber mallet to assemble it. Also, one small improvement, I can tell I'm going to get a tiny bit irritated by the player pieces (the meeple, the shield and the cubes) being in their own individual boxes. I know that's how it's designed to make space for the DA expansion and fit everything in the box, but our previous organizer had space for 3 player piece sets in each one.
The Wyrmspan insert is great! Easy to assemble, and everything fits so nicely (with plenty of room for sleeves and expansion if I go that route). Love how you can more easily play out of the storage pieces so gameplay setup is faster. It looks gorgeous and makes the whole experience feel fancier. Highly recommend!

Fun to put together and easy instructions. Adds considerably more weight to the box and you really need to be particular when assembling to ensure everything goes in as demonstrated. Not a criticism just a heads up.
